Fiona the Hippo realizes her friend, Matilda the Kookaburra, is sad and silent. She makes it her mission to get her friend to laugh again. Gathering all the animals in the zoo, they make silly faces and dress in funny costumes in the attempt.

This delightful book has great illustrations of animals kids love. Their antics add more fun and humor to the touching story. My grandchildren loved the book and I highly recommend it for young children.
