by K.B. Hoyle

Set in a family camp in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, K. B. Hoyle takes six teens and her readers on an adventure to another world. The Six is about six teens who stumble into Alitheia, a world held in darkness and Shadow. They are surprised to find they were expected—actually their appearance was prophesied and they are meant to be the ones to save Alitheia from the Shadow.
The Six is the first of a six volume series which takes these teens into adulthood as they learn what it means to trust and sacrifice themselves for others.
I attend a camp much like the one described in the series and find my imagination doesn’t have to stretch too far to imagine it leads to another world. I recommend this book to older teens as the series involves romantic relationships and brutal battles. Ultimately, the Christian worldview shines through and we see examples of true valor and honor.
Thanks K. B. Hoyle for this summer read! Can’t wait to get back to camp.
