This is a wonderful picture book of kids! They will love the illustrations. I appreciate all the identifiers the author uses to describe the little girl—you will have so many options for talking points with your own children. I give it a 5 star rating.

J.J. LeVan is a wife and mother
whose oldest son was diagnosed
with PDD/NOS in 1998. She has
since become an advocate for and
writer about autism, as well as a
Certified Independent Provider for
people with special needs. J.J.
enjoys spending time with her
family in Ohio, drinking fiercely
black coffee and filling her three
granddogs full of special treats.
