In Between, A Katie Parker Production: Act 1 by Jenny B. Jones is a wonderful story about a young girl in foster care who is trying to figure out where she fits in.

Katie is prepared to sabotage her chances in her new foster home before they decide to send her back to the orphanage. But her assumptions about life with Pastor James and Millie Scott are dismantled one by one. And life in the town of In Between turns out to be a place where secrets are revealed and Katie’s life is changed forever.

I thoroughly enjoyed this heart-warming story of Katie Parker. I laughed and cried along with Katie and I’m sure you will too. I highly recommend In Between, A Katie Parker Production: Act 1 for all middle and high school readers. The Christian worldview is unmistakeable and the story is delightful. I may just have to read the next book in the series.
